Hey Big Sister, as I walk through this life I walk in your foot steps, that are just a little bigger than mine. Sometimes I like to walk a little faster, just to be right by your side. Then I slow down, so I can watch you be my guide through this life. As I let you take my hand to show me the way, I follow closely for I know you wont let me fade.

You taught me so much Big Sister, how to love, how to fight and how to forgive. To love our family and close ones, to fight for what we believe in, and to forgive because life is too short to have a grudge. Big Sister, you reminded me that love is thicker than water, and people do come and go, but family stays with you forever. For they are the greatest love we have to hold close.

Big Sister, all my life I looked to you for guidance, even if you didn't know. You are are my hero. For when i look at you I see wisdom beyond my years. But I am still yearning to learn all that you have to teach me. The mile stones I cross, I never get loss; for you still make way for a path for me to follow.

Big Sister, make sure you tell dad that I love him and that he always crosses my mind. There's not a day that goes by when I don't reminisce about our memories. Tell him I hope to see him again soon, for the pain of separations hurts. I miss him dearly.

As I continue on this life it gets harder; at some points it is not as what I thought. Luckily, I have you Big Sister. To help me grow and manifest in a woman that I need to become. You have taught me so much in this life and always will. Big Sister, I love you. And even though I have grown, a part of me will always need you. My hero in this world and the next.
