Late at night
When the Earth is asleep
Quietly
The shadow souls creep

Out and about
They wander around
Creating chaos
Yet making not a sound

The longer you wait
The sooner you'll see
Strange is not just them
But also it is me

Come out of this world
Explore through your mind
As the Universe expands
There truth you will find

When the dark fades to light
Sneak into bed if we must
To the waking world nothing's different
Though what's in the shadows is between us
