If you don't have any good to say, maybe you can bite your lips.  You don't want to open your mouth, causing someone to flip.
If you don't have any good to say, sit there and hold your peace.   You don't want to cause any confusion, that just will not cease.
If you don't have any good to say, perhaps you can close your eyes.  People don't want to hear anything negative, along with a bunch of lies.
If you don't have any good to say, maybe you can stay away.  If you are not going to encourage someone, leave those words at bay.
