Two-faced Lie
A thousand heartbeats
rest upon a pillow
racing
to no finish.
A pulse quickens,
a tongue
tied,
strained by veins.
Sleep is
LOST
in a dream
a haunted fairy tale
draining
my
bruised
soul.
