Nov 2014
the cobwebs in the
moonlight
snatched her up while she
was sleeping
we didn't see her for
months

she fed on dust
& old photographs
when she rose she looked
more beautiful than
she ever
had

bathed in silver
& memory

she never forgot her place
in the line of
the earth
& every whimper kept me
tethered to her tears

in the winter she was lost
again

this time it's been for
years
