Nov 2014
Face overcome with blemishes,
arms ruled with scars.
Criticized for holding
teddy bears
and lounging alone at bars.
This insecurity
has a story.
Something behind this fragile door.
Stop yourself before offering help
she wants
no
     more.
She is fragile
she is afraid.
She knows her mental illness
is nothing that she can trade.
Let her be.
She is fragile like glass.
She cries as it shatters
then she is better, alas!
