When you embrace a form that alters time
Can you then close your eyes
When the rising moon guides the earth
Is this enough to decide your fate
When that form drifts
Out of sight

Do you just run where you are forced to go
So you can then live without
Or do you stop to think for a moment
Of the olden days and hours
When the sky was yours
Without a doubt

As you pass around those midnight corners
Do you tremble in your fear
When you hear the noise of time’s battle
Calling to you in the distance
Do you think perhaps
That form is near

When you embraced a form that altered time
Could you see those leaves a falling
Did you feel the edge of all that is concealed
Has your time become so darkly veiled
It now decides your fate
Turns your wheels
