If only I knew you replied her text,
If only I knew you left when I slept.
If only you knew of what I dreamt
If only you knew your secrets weren’t kept
Maybe then, I’d be able to grasp this concept.

If only you knew what I now know
If only you knew where I’m about to go.
If only I knew how to deal with sorrow
If only I knew some day, I could glow
Only then, around my neck, wouldn’t be a bow.
