You Criminal! whenever
I looked at you.
I thought you were
one amongst the few.

Now I realize how
daft and dumb I was.
My views were full
of defects and flaws.

In murky waters they
all used to subside.
It was their nakedness
they used to hide.

Seeing they are not alone,
boldly they walk.
They praise the Criminal,
about him they talk.

Noises of jubilation
and victory surround.
But I hear faint echoes
of agonizing sound.

You Criminal! I used
to point only at thee.
Helpless finger! Now
so many criminals I see.
