Nov 2014
The warm glow from the cigarette butts blinds me slowly,
The smoke fills the delicate air poisoning those around me,
But it does not matter now, I am calm and so are they.
That's enough for me if nothing else.

Grey speckled silver wisps dance around me
And fill the room with a sense of familiarity,
Its not that I'm addicted so much as it is I enjoy
The nostalgia that fills me with each breath.

Memories of those close to me and the past
I used to live moment by moment.

Who would have known something so simple
Could mean so much to one person.
If you found this, you know who you are,
Thank you for making me feel this way.
