I remember wanting to melt.

It was at that moment,
That i knew I was meant to forever be in your embrace.
To this day my love for you is
As strong as the winds over the highest mountains,
As forceful as the pressure in the bottom of the deepest oceans,
As mighty as the lion in the deepest parts of the Safari,
But even these things are no match for the love and compassion i feel
When I get lost in the sparkling passion of your eyes.
I wish they would see how our love shines,
As bright as the blaring July sun.
I wish they cared that I love you,
Despite your imperfections.
I wont say I think you have no flaws,
Because I know you do.
Everyone does,
Love is simply being able to overlook them.
I just wish they could overlook our difference.
Age is only a number,
It doesn't effect feelings in the slightest.
