Plenty of smiles and two wings of dreams.
Friends were butterflies, grass and trees.
Flew high in skies and over the streams.
Played with flowers and followed the bees.

Always went to see sunset on top of the roof.
Gazed legion twinkling stars after twilight.
Dreamt a lot watching stars, staying aloof.
Often landed on gleaming moon at night.

But where is that girl, where she stays now?
Where this path leads, with sobs it is paved.
Followed the path and heard her echoing sough.
At a distance a tomb with some name engraved.

Covered with strewn feathers and something in piles
Went near and saw broken wings and dead smiles
