tonight i sleep,
expecting and wondering
the thoughts and the feelings
we experience each hour
causing this unearthly desire
to wake up for a better tomorrow
going threw my dreams
as i lay, like many kings
and wish to never grow up
or to wake up, after the wish of a better tomorrow
opening my eye lids
knowing what the day brings
lust, drugs, ***, desire
people only rush to grow for their own power
it takes skill to feel for each other
the day i wake up and the world is a better place
i will never fall back asleep
for being awake will be
better than dreams.
