If only I could skip days,
like I skip stairs
when I am running to you.
There is no need to worry
if I begin to fall;
the dried  leaves of yesterday
will cushion the blow
then, quickly turn to snow
but, before I know,
spring is back in my step
and the only thing that reigns
is the smile on my face;
because, my heart knows,
with one more leap,

summer’s kiss is waiting for me on the landing
