Although I do not know you
And have seen you but once
It would be socially acceptable
To hate you
To loathe each breath you take
To despise your beauty
They call it jealousy, I think
But I do not hate you
And I do not believe I ever will
So I will nod as you pass
And wish you well
And even after seeing you almost every day
I still cannot hate you.
