Nothing lasts forever.

Perhaps people see reality as too harsh so they sugar coat it in sweet lies of fantasy and hope;
Re-coating their views in an attempt to make life more manageable.
That is not reality.
Reality is not your friend.
It never was and never will be.

I will admit, I knew that;
Or at least I know that now.
