I saw her lips shine,
And I was breathless.
She’d grown from that little girl.
She was in the Adult Section.

I was speechless. Shocked.
The transformation she took.
She’s cunning. Astounding.
She’s like good book.

A thought so hard to shake.
A dream I can’t forget.
With those lip glossed lips.
And every little step.

I miss that day,
And the time we shared.
The way your skin touched my eyes
And your lovely, lovely hair.

We’re grown now,
That day has passed you see?
We text, but to you,
What does that mean?

I want something fresh.
Something special, and new.
I want to try something strong.
Something real, like you.

Spontaneous kisses.
Romantic gestures and sorts.
I want this love to last,
Not a story that’s short.

Can I love you hard?
And never let go?
Defend your honor?
Let your enemies know?

Leave roses on your door step.
Let you know how I feel?
That it started on that day.
With a lip gloss kiss seal?
