After the sunset

Lying in your lap

I feel you gently stroke my hair

I slowly open up my eyes

I can see your smiling face

Forever seems a day away

so close that I can feel

the warmth of your soft embrace

eternity is here

Now everywhere I look

It's your face I always see

I think it's true,

there's no doubt

I'm falling seriously

in your arms, where morning dews

and orchids come together

Listen up, I've got to tell you this

for me this could mean everything

I know it won't be long enough

So I want you to know..

You can wait and crave

or just go and take it

leave me here,

still I'll be waiting..

I'll be waiting...
