Let life falter and drink tonight,
We'll drink until the wee hours night,
Pretend that time has stopped at last,
Consume the moment and let it past.

Bring round the brandy and lovely meats,
Let's kiss each other and share the treats,
No man or woman will ever celebrate,
We'll drink and drink until much too late.

Then fall about sweet night together,
Our heads will spin, so light as feather,
Pass all the bourbon around the table,
Tonight is not for the sane and able.

Do lovely things to one another,
Here comes a girl with one my brother,
The lights will dim until darkness sinks,
Then pass the bottle and one more drink.

Won't be the one to curtail the night,
Our bodies laying in such total fright,
Our spinning heads, our minds devoured,
It is the time for the witching hour.
