Its just a hazy day
not bright at all
this Michigan weather
boasting that its fall.

The sun beams are few
the clouds are many
reflecting my mood
in this autumn setting

but these sunglasses I wear
are not for the glare
to protect my eyes,
or for fashionable flair

They are merely there
for masking
         a longing

Watery stare.
