deaf

the fact of deafness

it is not our minds

but our ears

thinks not that i don't understand

though sound does not enter

sight is available

my eyes read lips

my hands make signs

i know you understand

pretending otherwise

to explain from start to end is a waste

for you do not believe

what can i do?

but i feel the isolation

seems like my life gets harder with passing time

you say i'm young its not true

you try to make it as if age matters

when its not
