On my way to my room
I noticed that the garage door
was unlocked,
and almost left it like that with the thought of you.
But then I remembered that
you would not be coming tonight,
or any night soon,
So I turned back and locked it with a click.
It felt like I was locking you away from me,
and leaving you in the dark.
