I won't forget
That time you called me beautiful
Was like no boy could have made me feel
Coming from you, it was honest
It was absolute truth

And I'll never forget
That time you told me
"Nobody wants you here
Why don't you just go"
And I told you you're wrong

I hate you
The way you go from
Pushing blades in my skin
To holding me soft,
"It's okay, I'm here"

I love you
The way you remind me
That everything is temporary
That no matter who comes and leaves
You'll be right here with me
