Jan 2011
My fingers were burning
yours were centimeters away.
Your voice filled the silent night
sending chills down my spine.
Your smile lit up the dark wood
making my lips tingle.
Butterflies filled my stomach
our arms brushed so slightly.
The cold air warmed against my face.
Your presence felt right,
it made sense,
you should never leave.
My heart aches when you go
afraid you'll never come back,
afraid all these feelings
won't be returned.

Just take my hand,
kiss my lips,
make everything

perfect.
