And
I don't write
I sing
with notes I wish would pierce
your thoughts
and linger

as how it is
when the orchestra turns silent
and when the lights
turn off

you know the feeling

It requires no eyes
to see the stars
draw closer and hear how they
hum their lullabies

give in
not because of my words
but because you know the feeling
how something is
hanging

when something is about
to be created
