Nero was an Emperor
A very unkind one
He wanted everything as he planed

He decided to burn down a city
Which people really loved
Nero burnt down the city and got the blame
Was Nero going to be blamed forever?
NO!

He then accused the Christians
The innocent Christians did nothing wrong
But still got the blame

So Nero persuaded the people and them it was the Christians
Who caused the fire
But it wasn’t true

And then came the persecution of the Christians.
