The night, sometimes
Still night;
eyes keen,
sheets unfurled—
sails.
The night, sometimes,
swims with sad fish.
The night, sometimes,
is a ritual drowning.
Lonely, I consider waking you
to say
*Look—
the stars are bioluminescent, baby.
