Beautiful Moonlight
Beauty is her.
Love is her.
Wonder is her.
Hug’s for her.
Smile’s that sing.
Mysterious words.
Unknown. No sounds.
Love unheard.
Do I deserve?
This beauty and grace.
This splendor. This joy,
What lights up my face?
Who brings that glow?
Who doesn’t say no?
But knows the flow.
How I love this show.
I won’t chase her.
Why should I?
She’s there for me,
To catch my good eye.
I can hold her hand.
I tell her anything.
Her name is Luna.
She’s my diamond ring.
That necklace that shines.
The bracelet so bright.
Earrings that match.
She looks so right.
She subjects no tears.
She doesn’t bring pain.
With her there’s confidence
In women, I regain.
The radiance she sheds.
It spews from hey rays.
I can stare for hours.
From night to day.
What can I say?
I’m in love again.
She’s my beauty’s light.
She’s my best friend.
She’s why I love to think.
Why I love to write.
Why I like the day,
But I love the night.
I love her light.
I love her life.
She’s worth the fight.
My Beautiful Moonlight.
