You may not be in the crowd tonight,
But you will be with me on stage,
For you are apart of my spotlight,
And the makers of who I am to this day and age

You are the molds to my sculptures,
The notes to my music
The mystery to my adventures
And the person who leave me static

You may not be at every show or event
And you may not be there when wanted,
But you are there when I’m in need to vent
And when I feel like I’m being taunted…

When I can’t help but shed a tear
And when I feel like my whole world is about to disappear
When I feel as if I may collapse
Or have a mental relapse

You hold my hand and comfort me
And set my worries free
