Let the rain fall
let it fall like
the tears of the nameless
and forgotten dead
broken hearts
let My heart bleed
let my body shed its
red tears for all the
forgotten loves I only remember
all My loves are gone
gone all your generations so long ago
only I remain, only I
to drink the blood of those that remain
My love's memory echos through
the halls of My mind
like ghosts of long ago
Oh, ache to My soul
Oh, ghosts that pass through My mind
Oh, I gave You My dark love
Oh, ache to My soul
to touch your warm flesh
Oh, to wish for the impossible
Oh, the skull that once held a pair of lovely eyes
Oh, that I could find My rest
and once again touch
Your warm and lovely flesh
