It's not easy to discern,
one must listen intently
to hear it,
but it's definitely
hidden in there.
A lovely girl
trapped
in a grown woman's voice.
It speaks of spicy make-up
& striped bobby socks,
Goldilocks & kitten tails.
And it makes
all the difference
in the world
to me.
