The moment I left your bed
I missed having your fingers
intertwined with mine,
our bodies tangled together,
being lulled to sleep
by the sound of your heartbeat
and steady breathing.
I walked home that morning
with only the scent
of you
locked in my t-shirt
and the longing need
to see you again.
