Coeur d’Alene my dear
The stops are few and far between
And we’ve come so many miles
On this mission so it seems
We dream of life unhindered
By time zones and state lines
Driving three states over
But we’re never sure what we’ll find
Rewinding relationships
And hoping that our statements stick
So let’s steal **** from Wal-mart
And I’ll drink until it makes me sick

So we’re on  a journey to the ends of the earth
But the spark that lights the way
Is being choked by the dirt
The lines, roads, sands and streams
Run together on the page
To form the surface of a face
I’ve not seen in too many days

The earth will move beneath your feet
The sun and moon above your head
And all that passes keep in mind
You’re loved until we’re all but dead
95 winds as the lines begin to blur
Fueled by fumes and rumors
Knowing only what we’ve heard

But I assure you this is not the end of the road
This is only the beginning as far as I know
And as far as we’ll go
Isn’t measured in kilometers
We wouldn’t be out here
If you weren’t something to bother with
We’re following
Like a ******* dog chasing a car
If you fall we’re right behind you
Just remember who we are this time
