My Best Friend

I don't know how i became privileged like no other

To have a friend like you to call my brother.

You're someone I can tell my secrets to,

And no one keeps them as well as you.

Not only do I get to call you mine,

But our friendship is doing fine.

I hope we by one another's sides

Even if I have to go on one of those long bike rides.

You have always been someone to go to

While you help me get through.

Not only do you turn my sorrow into joy,

I'm not treated like your toy.

I don't know how I became privileged like no other

To have a friend like you to call my brother.
