It's an exodus
Not as frantic frenzied as space between classes
Slow and relaxed like a blood flow
We're the arteries of this school
Keep it alive with footstep heartbeats

After we leave this will be empty
New blood to flush out the old
Barely enough to keep alive
Until summer goes again

But I won't come back then
