Back for the Better

lost my ways

lost in my teenage days

boys on my mind & in my ear.

my parents wondering if I could hear.

friends coming & going

but I still manage to keep on flowing.

treating school as a joke

watch yourself, don't choke.

im watching these people play a game

instead of trying to get to know a persons name

why ya'll have to act the same?

such a shame.

but now im back

back for the better

this, a letter.

to remind myself to never lose

& go by the expectations I choose

no distractions

this is my time to prove myself,

with my actions.
