I don't know what it is
Why every time I think of you

A thousand butterflies are born in my body
And they scatter throughout my rib cage
                to startle my heart
Their wings flutter on my cheeks and stain them pink

I don't know if you're much of a butterfly person

But because of you,
There is chaos underneath my skin
caused from a thousand wings rushing inside.

You create life within me.
