Sip with me red wine
from these twisted
vines. Numb my pain
with the melodies you
love to hum. I feel the
chemicals burning
under my skin again. I feel
the alcohol mixing with
my blood from within.
Calm the storm in me
and make me warm.
Love me with every
little drop of blood you got
inside. Colour my
petals in red so they
don't look like the dead.
Let me recover from
this endless misery I'm
in. Scare away the voices
in my head and tuck me
at night in bed. I know
your kind and devine
and you'll help me cross
the line. Kiss me and
tell me we'll be fine when
we reach the end* ~
