So many things that we could do

watch the sunset from the sand
or walk along the shoreline

or lay within each other’s arms
sleeping together in our bed

will I ever get to see the smile
that creeps across your face
as you think about these questions
and picture our embrace

This list goes on forever
is that how its meant to be
in time we’ll know the answers
