Poetry
Is healing
To me

It is the disinfectant
To my wound
Or the seed
Of a creative plant

It is the return
Of sanity
And all the time
I refused to unwind

It seems
That I was right
Therapy
Was a worthless fight

The battle i bear
Is in my mind
And through it
Truth I did find

A risk I took
To go it alone
Almost left me
Blind
Almost left me
A body to find
But i realize now
I can finally see
