I never want to grow up
Childhood is like vapor
Here one second gone the next
It's easy to forget how to be a kid
And sometimes you do
But i never want to
I want to stay a kid as long as i can
It's too much fun to let it go
I want to play with my friends
And make base camps
While making pretend that we are spies
Sneaking and plotting
Then afterwards coloring in a pillow fort
And eating all the candy we can
Because that's what being a kid is all about
Having fun without thinking
I truly want to stay a kid forever, even though i'm not even that old turning 14 is a big step, and it's happening soon in a month, and i am not so sure i'm ready to grow up that fast
