Oh, the things one will do
for the love of another,
Be they a friend,
or be they a lover.

For the former,
they bend, and they stretch, and cram,
Providing camaradarie
as no other can.

For the latter,
they smile, and stutter, and stare,
But once they're united,
such passion they share.

Which love proves truest?
time only knows,
For one love shall perish,
but the other shall grow.
