The wind blowing through my window
The wind blowing through my window
Carrying sounds from far away
Sounds of yesterday
Unfailingly pleading..
Incessantly leading
To what end forever misleading
..teasing
Intermittently leaving
Mingled in with those of the day
Sounds of laughter and sadness
echo's across time
The wind blowing through my window
Throws dust in my eyes and dries
The tears upon my cheek
I stammer and call out then scream your name
For the wind to blend with another's refrain
Along along
Down the chain
The wind blowing haughtily
through everyone's pain..
The wind blowing through my window
Has no answers
