Our last night stirred the ground beneath my feet
Surpassing either side of the known
Even though the sun our faces had to greet
A sense of beauty remained in tone

Even as shining dew, rests upon these words I write
There is no light brighter than our own
That could outshine the beauty, of that night
Surpassing either side of the known

Even though the sun, greeted us with a sigh
There was no coldness in his tone
He could see the beauty stirring in our eyes
Because our love surpassed
Either side
Of the known
