Don't settle, don't stoop
To the men in the chute
Funneling through
A perpetual loop

The choices they made
were a crooked facade
Don't you know tainted lovers
All fall the same way

The sin that lives in every strain
Appears to some a noble vein
Time will rend, as evils bane
But the men aligned remain

For how could we forget
The eternity of echoes spent
Singing praise to harmony
An homage paid by all to be

And if my soul depart today
The ending note would surely stay
Commune to Him a final prayer
Let one more song afflict the air!
