If where your own name can follow, gleams a star
Cast in the beginning of your days
Warmly hailing you there from afar
Then from the sky you should
Not hide away

Should the world call you one in a million
Yet in their eyes, set you aside
Should you judge yourself to be barren
And from that gleaming star
Would you hide

If in regions, you are known as the gate
Opening to thought and reason
Will you not that star await
Believing firm
In your own season

Should you grow tired and weary of your fate
Of always swimming in deep waters
Would it be fair to shut the gate
And just whose life
Would you alter

If you are perplexed by, where life leads you
Know you now that you are not alone
Keep that gleaming star in view
And that gate open
With your heart’s stone
