I Was Counting Your Flaws
I was counting the number
of your flaws for the first time,
trying to find an excuse,
trying to find some armor,
trying to find a modicum of control,
(letting go is always
easier
than being let go)
I was struck dumb by futility.
I was counting the number
of your flaws for the first time,
and for the first time learned,
that zero is a number.
