Nov 2010
The time had come to renew the morning mist and clinging ivy
As the shimmering stars were quickly forced away
In sweet displays, I saw before me
The dawning of a brand new day

I stopped and took a look, under the great unknown
Thinking I would be pleased at the sight
Waited on the darkest song
Many call our night

A distant swaying caught my eye, I think a friend of fate
With a heart of fire, waving there at me
Smiling as if he knew, I would be too late
To ever stop, what is and was to be

I turned my gaze from the great unknown awhile
Felt the morning mist upon my face
Watched the ivy cling to the heart of fire and smile
Knowing day had taken place
