Rainy days aren't the same when you're lonely.

It used to be used as a pretty good excuse

for how to put off all your need to do's...

Now I need to get me back to you.

The lightning blinks and it stings when you're lonely.

It used to be our silhouette against the sheets,

somehow it's enough to be frightening.

And now I need to get you back to me.

And, well, I was wrong if I said

I couldn't forget what to do,

because I don't have a clue.

And, well, I was wrong if I said

that I really wish I was dead,

so that I wouldn't love you.

All in all, it's really nothing we haven't seen.

Me and you, alone with my rainy day queen.
