oceanskin

dune grass hair,

beach skin, and

sea-salt sundress.

still, let me drink from you.

fill my sails with your sweet breath,

open my eyes and fill my lungs.

guide me through troubled water;

but still, sweep me away.

bring me somewhere new.

ship me to fresh water,

like your home town.

but still, keep me where I am.

still, leave me, unchanged.
